"To strengthen youth and families and to reduce the incidence of delinquency, abuse and neglect through community involvement"

Huron Valley Youth Assistance is truly an important asset to our community.  Our case workers, staff, board members and volunteers continuously work to improve the programs offered to residents of the Huron Valley School District.  This past year our Mentors Plus program and the After School Tutoring program have both grown.  We continue to offer more classes to reach as many students and parents as possible.

In February of 2006 HVYA held its second annual Taste of the Valley and I am proud to report that in the two events we have raised over $14,000.00.  This also helps us to have the funds to expand our programs.

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their continued support.  You give us the opportunity to reach out to the prevention of juvenile delinquency, child neglect and abuse through community involvement.
